Students and Mobiles – Disadvantages
Due to the development of technology, today everyone is using mobile easily. Until 2019, most of the students did not use mobile phones, but during the Corona period, mobile phones entered the life of every student for the purpose of online education. The impact of Corona decreased but after that the presence of mobile phones for students continued to increase.
Initially, students were handling mobile phones for the purpose of online classes and online studies. Then education was also online, but now with the start of school, online education has reduced. It was not known when the mobile phone used for study became an addiction for the students.
Physical activity and outdoor sports are very important for students. The mental and physical growth of students takes place on the occasion of sports. But due to the use of mobile phones, students now only play online games. They are wasting a lot of time.
Due to entertainment like online games, social media and web series, students have become introverted, quick to anger, lose emotional control. Also, when there is no mental stability at a young age, they can experience feelings like violence, love, anger, hatred.
The use of mobile phones has become very convenient due to the internet. Students are also using social media like adults. Their online profile is very important to them. Self-centered and in a virtual world they are growing. Their attention is now fixed only on mobile phones.
Ten-fifteen years ago, when smartphones did not exist, students were trying their hand at many other activities. Physical labor was also done. Therefore, mental and physical stability was easily created in their lives. Due to mobiles, today’s students do not have the same creativity and harmony.
Nowadays students are spending all their time on mobile. Due to this, organs like eyes, neck, brain, back, skin are being threatened. Due to lack of physical activity, students are getting tired immediately. They have started to dislike intellectual work. Thus these same students will become desensitized towards life in future.
There are some exceptional students who are achieving great success but the number of students who are mentally retarded is high. As the lives of students are occupied by mobile phones, it is becoming difficult for them to concentrate anywhere other than the screen.
Even though mobile phones are banned in school, students are using mobile phones stealthily. Students are wasting their precious time trying to create an online status at a very young age, paying the necessary price for it, increasing followers, subscribers. Students are going astray at a young age to start life.
Excessive use of mobile is not only a personal problem for students but it is also going to be a social problem in the future. The students of today are going to be the responsible citizens of tomorrow. If they do not take responsibility for themselves, they will definitely be dangerous for the future social stability.
