My salutations to all the teachers, non-teaching staff and principals as well as all the students and their parents gathered on this platform today!

I am very excited to start the program. We are all rightly proud that such a grand event is organized in our educational complex every year.

The whole program will be very cultural in nature. In which students will perform various arts such as oratory, music, dance, drama.

Apart from that, felicitations have also been organized for students who have achieved success in various fields, competitive exams, sports competitions this year.

It has to be said that the annual program is not only the artistic performance of the students but also a cultural program in which all the parents, teachers and citizens of the village participate.

The program also aims to make parents aware of how their child is progressing during the academic year and ask teachers and school staff about it.

If parents and citizens want to make some suggestions about education, they can do so. Without taking much of your time, I bid you all farewell and bid the program begin. Thank you!

Mahatma Jotirao Phule Essay in English

Mahatma Phule’s full name was Jotirao Govindrao Phule. He was born on 11 April 1827 at Katgun in Satara. He spent his entire life doing social work. He always worked for the welfare of farmers, untouchables, and Bahujan Samaj.

Mahatma Phule’s father’s name was Govindrao Sheriba Phule and mother’s name was Chimanabai Phule. His wife was Savitribai Phule, the first female teacher. He educated Savitribai Phule himself and established the first school for girls in Pune.

His mother died when Jotirao was young. He got married to Savitribai at the age of thirteen. Mahatma Phule did his secondary education at the Scottish Mission High School. He was known as a bright and intelligent student in his school life.

Realizing that ignorance was responsible for bitterness and inequality in society, he started efforts to educate women and Bahujans. He felt that the development of family and society is possible in real sense only if girls should also learn.

Mahatma Phule established the first school for girls in Maharashtra in Pune in 1848 AD by educating his wife Savitribai. The responsibility of teaching there was entrusted to his wife Savitribai Phule. After that a school was also established for the untouchables.

Mahatma Phule along with his colleagues and followers founded the organization “Satya Shodhak Samaj” in 1873. The great aim of this organization was to bring justice to the oppressed people in the society and to create a noble society through education by eradicating caste discrimination, untouchability.

Mahatma Phule’s writing and reading were profound. His books “Shetkaryancha Asood”, “Sarvajanik Satyadharma” and “Gulamgiri” are famous. His writings show how great a thinker and writer he was.

In the year 1888, people in Bombay felicitated Rao Bahadur Vandekar and awarded him the title of ‘Mahatma’. Two years later, on 28 November 1890, this great thinker and seeker of truth died in Pune. As Mahatma Phule’s work was immense, he was able to create hope for a righteous life in the entire society.

Everyone loves bursting crackers. Apart from Diwali, firecrackers are set off on other auspicious occasions such as weddings, birthdays, processions, jayantis, yatras. Bursting of crackers mainly causes air and noise pollution.

The chemical ingredients used in making firecrackers make a crackling sound when they explode and emit smoke with a specific smell. This chemical fume is dangerous for clean environment. The smoke can also enter our body through the nostrils.

Firecrackers are made from the chemical ingredients nitrate, charcoal and sulphur. When the wick of a firecracker is ignited, it burns and explodes with chemical elements. Nitrogen, carbon dioxide and potassium sulphide are released from the explosion.

Bursting of firecrackers is a very pleasant thing for humans, but domestic animals, other animals – birds and small living beings feel its pain. They get scared by the sound of crackers. As animals and birds are very sensitive, they do not like the sound and smoke of firecrackers.

Children are extremely happy when crackers are set off. Bursting crackers is an adventure for them. It is a very natural thing for children to burst crackers and celebrate. If parents buy small quantity of non-harmful crackers, children will also burst crackers in moderation and be happy.

Savvy people are overdoing it when they set off large quantities of crackers. Long strings of firecrackers, loud bombs, sounds like crackers bursting in the sky and crackers that create smoke if people set off deliberately, pollution is sure to happen.

Firecrackers are to some extent harmful to nature and health. Therefore, it would be beneficial and enjoyable for all to keep the awareness of the adults and not to blow firecrackers excessively and let the children blow firecrackers which are not dangerous.

Republic Day (26th January) Essay In English

Republic Day of India is celebrated on 26th January every year with great fervor all over India. The Constitution of India was ratified by the Constitution Committee of India on November 26, 1949. Thereafter, the Constitution of India came into force on 26th January, 1950.

On 26th January, the day when the Indian Constitution is enacted, the Indian flag is hoisted all over the country in the same manner as Independence Day. From this day onwards, India as a whole became an independent nation. Many important laws and regulations were enacted in our country.

Savitribai Jotirao Phule Essay In English |

Savitribai Phule, the first female teacher, wife of Mahatma Jotirao Phule, brought Indian women into the mainstream of education and gave women power an important place in society. Savitribai also played an important role in the social work of Mahatma Jotirao Phule.

Savitribai Phule was born on 3rd January 1831 at Naigaon in Satara district (Maharashtra, India). At the tender age of nine, Savitribai married Jotirao Phule. Jotirao himself was educated and also taught Savitribai.

Jotirao Phule and Savitribai had endured the ravages of caste, tradition and illiteracy. For this, he took a vow of lifelong social service to bring about a radical change in the society.

Knowing that education is not an option if we want to get rid of rituals and stereotypes against humanity, Mahatma Phule started the first school for girls in Budhwar Peth, Pune on January 1, 1848. There Savitribai worked as a teacher.

From Years 1848 to 1852, a phule couple established a total of 18 schools. Their school was registered with the government. At that time, on 12 February 1852, Mahatma Phule and Savitribai Phule were felicitated by Major Candy. It also announced government grants to schools.

In 1863, a maternity hospital was started by them setting up a home for the prevention of infanticide. Labor leader Narayan Lokhande staged a strike against Kesh vapana (Hair removal). He had the support and inspiration of Savitribai.

Born to a widowed mother, Yashwant was adopted by Savitribai who educated him and made him a doctor. In July 1887, Jotirao contracted paralysis. Savitribai served him during his illness. Jotirao died on November 28, 1890, after a long illness.

The plague had hit the Pune area between 1896-97. Many were dying from this deadly disease. Realizing this problem, Savitribai started a hospital for plague victims near Pune. While serving the plague patients, Savitribai also got plague.

Savitribai, who had fought against injustice all her life, failed to fight the plague and died on March 10, 1897 at the age of 66. Greetings from all the countrymen to Dnyanjyoti Savitribai Phule, the pioneer of Indian women’s liberation and women’s education.
